What does FSC stand for? FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council. This is the body that controls the origin of the 'wood' from the forest, the raw material for making paper. The principal purpose is:
1. To avoid wide clear-cutting
2. Preservation of forests
3. To avoid the use of pesticides;
4. Specific choice of appropriate trees
Stark Druck is FSC Certified since January 2005. This means that it can guarantee the exclusive processing of FSC characterized paper. In this way Stark is making an active contribution to environmental protection as well.
